I have to admit, I thought Team Autobot was going to have an unbelievably huge vote in the popularity category as leading up to Splatfest I saw way more than an overwhelming number of Miiverse posts in favor of Team Autobot to Team Decepticons.
Now, I'm not a Transformers fan, so I picked the side I thought had the coolest logo. lol. It also felt better to be on the "villain" team since I like having my Inkling be a "bad boy". XD
Anyway, on to the Splatfest, I had such a great team starting out. We went 23-8 (74% win percentage) and got HALFWAY through champions and were close to becoming the King/Queen title altogether while starting out as Fanboy/Fangirl. I just didn't want to quit. They were just fantastic! I don't think Orca, Mininaner, or Jacob are reading Wiki blogs, but man, they deserve a shoutout. We had strategy down, we knew what our job was to do for each of the three stages. It was just so much fun.
Then I got disconnected. I was just....UGGGGGH!!!!
I could never get a group as good as that again, or stay in long enough to find out.
One special match mention goes to going up against a Team Autobot group that consisted of a Level 1, a level 4, and two level 11s. Sorry, but no mercy from the bad guys. Or in Splatfest. You got to win.
In the end, my record for this Splatfest was 54 wins, 25 losses (I tallied on paper). I would have played a lot more but the LLWS was on its Championship weekend and the two games on were highly anticipated.
Way to go, fellow Team Decepticons on winning 56 percent of the matches. Of course, my win percentage was 68 percent. :P
How'd this Splatfest go for everybody? Hope you had great fun and got plenty of Sea Snails to go around. :)
